NCD hosts policy briefing on Extreme Weather report

During the National Council on Disability meeting May 4, 2023, a policy briefing and discussion was held on its new report. Presenters included: Andrés Gallegos, NCD, Chairman; Daniel Schreck, immediate past Council Member, who served on the NCD subcommittee that shepherded NCD’s report; Marcie Roth, Executive Director and CEO of the World Institute on Disability; and Sherman Gillums, Jr., Director, Office of Disability Integration and Coordination, Office of the Administrator, FEMA. NCD Council Member Theo Braddy also participated in the discussion.
